Gastroscopy

Gastroscopy is a tool of investigation to identify pathologies in upper gastrointestinal tract from esophagus to stomach, and duodenum. It is the golden standard investigation for identifying upper gastriointestinal tract pathologies, such as gastritis, peptic ulcers, stomach cancer, esophageal cancer etc.  The procedure also allows biopsy sampling and therapeutic interventions using specialized instruments.

Early-stage stomach cancer often presents no obvious symptoms, and even when symptoms appear, they are often too non-specific and therefore may be mistaken for common gastrointestinal issues, potentially delaying treatment until advanced stages. Therefore, if you experience any gastrointestinal discomfort, early gastroscopy and appropriate treatment are crucial for the effective management of stomach cancer.
